I finally got to see Bully with @ThePiechologist, so that deserves the lead…
- Lee Hirsh – the director of the documentary Bully – did an AMA on Reddit and answered a lot of questions fans had about the families, schools, and MPAA rating mess. [Movies]
- Paste Magazine ranks its Top 25 songs of 2012 (so far). The Keane single should probably be there too, but they make up for it by giving the Sigur Ros tune a #2. Well-done. It’s really that good. [Music]
- Daniel Carlson hates the trend of live-tweeting TV series. Couldn’t agree with him more. While @torpey and I are guilty of live-tweeting sporting events or awards shows, there isn’t any real replay value to the Oscars or the NCAA tournament. Ruining the ending of a Game of Thrones episode, however, will secure you in a special place on my shit list. [Twitter]
- Pajiba raids the stash house with their take on six dramas that owe a nod of respect to The Wire. “Robb Stark comin’ yo.” [TV]
- Geekosystem reports on the biggest urban legend in tech: that Apple products are any more safe from viruses and malware than PC’s. Coupled with the fact that Office:mac is inferior and the gaming community is basically forced into Windows, it’s hard to justify the cost. (Though, admittedly, they’re beautiful pieces of hardware).
